I believe yoga is the practise of being free and at ease with ourselves, so that we may be free and at ease within the world around us. There is a divine order to everything, including our bodies and when we begin to relate to ourselves from this understanding, freedom unfolds. I teach mindful, breath led posture practise to inspire better health and freedom on and off the mat.
A typical ‘JOYoga’ class includes pranayama (breath work), dynamic vinyasa flow (breath-led movement), Postures (Hatha Yoga), Meditation and Relaxation. On a more creative day you may find some some shaking, free style movement, partner work, chanting or a bit of humour!!!!!
Classes are suitable to beginners through advanced and all levels are catered for.
